I knew a guy who went on a fishing trip every year with his buddies, they'd go up to northern Calif. (Reno). On the way home they'd stop and buy trout in a store. This worked until his wife found an inspectors I.D. slip inside one of the fish.

Well all was not lost, he told his wife a Clinton, which she believed. He told her he didn't catch any fish and had bought them without his buddies knowing so he didn't have to live down the razing they would dump on him.
