Kirk: Again, worthy points. There was no apparent Brinker effect upon Intel, pure and simple. Indeed, on market open Tuesday, did not Intel close higher? However, just as one lark does not make a spring, the argument may only be settled if and when our venerable commander gives his bear market sell pronouncement. Since a case could be made that legion of Brinker's devotees invest in the greater market or por- tions thereof with lesser emphasis on individual issues, I, for one, will be most curious to gauge the overall effect of a patented Brinker pronouncement that the bear has, at last, awakened.
