As the OEM's increase, the tie ratios decrease. Catch 22 to be sure
I realize that the reigning thought on this dictates that the tie ratio should always increase (or at least remain ) constant. However, I believe at some point in the successful implementation of the business plan, the lowering of the ratio can be well tolerated. Look at it like this, A very steep parabolic rise in the numbers of Zips being sold (due to OEMs coming onboard ) still leaves room for a lesser parabolic increase in the number of disks being sold. And there we go - mo money, mo money, mo money.

Even though we have taken a serious hit here (most of us, anyway), we can still have some fun -- right?
