Many Many Thanks Dirk. I don't understand some of your tech info, but it sounds like I should try to see a demo before I buy anything. Thanks again. I really appreciate your response. ER

Dirk,

WOW!! The resources on SI are wonderful. I had already opted for the dual card solution but will heed your warning that the fonts on WIN NT leave something to be desired. I do not want to compromise the other (main) uses of my system for the Matrox solution if it reduces the quality of the display. Many thanks.

Carl

Dirk,

Great post on the criteria to evaluate for multiple monitors. Very timely as I have been thinking about this type of setup. I really appreciate your efforts to take the time to put this information on SI for us. Thanks.

Mark

********* Multiple Monitors...come to this thread........

DREAM MACHINE (Build Your Own PC)
Subject 18946

We have discussed this subject many times.
Its a new thread with great ideas for the best computer components:
graphics cards, modems, monitors, RAM, motherboards, ect.

(We like the Appian J3, currently uses RDRAM and about
to upgrade to SGRAM. Their software is much more advanced,
and their products are used by DELL in their corporate line.)

An open invitation to come on over to the DREAM MACHINE!
