Actually, we don't know that. There is at least some question that FL contains some alluvial ore. If that were to be true, conventional mining methods would work on the alluvial aspects of the ore, while obviously not working on the refractory ores.

At this point, no one knows how much, if any, alluvial ore is present at FL. Once more is understood about the exact characteristics of the ore, Naxos will be able to make more informed decisions about what future paths are in the best interests of the shareholders, and Naxos itself.
