I don't invest/trade based on politics, whether it is liberal/progressive or conservative. I am a bottom up stock picker and invest/trade based on fundamentals/technicals. My view of the Trump Fed is based on facts. Any decline in the stock market and Trump will start crying to his Fed boys who will lower rates as good soldiers. You can call that politics if you like, but I call it fact.
Geo-Political risk has now entered the equation. I fail to see how your rantings against the Fed has any relevance to the bear case. To be sure, an attack on US soil will produce a 20-30% decline.

And BTW, it has been a new era in valuations since 1997. Not saying it is right or judging, as you do. I'm in the stock market to make money, long or short.
