But they lied---they told us that we could eat as much as we liked and not gain wait if we were nursing and it was vicious propoganda. Or else they didn't realize the amount of food I'm capable of consuming. I can outeat Dan and he's a foot taller than I and 80 pounds heavier. Funny you should mention food...I hadn't thought about it, but one of my best memories is of this incredible giant chocolate chip cookie I made Dan go buy me when I came out of recovery and how great it tasted. And the firm always sent lunch for two from Neiman Marcus to the hospital the next day and I still remember the fruit salad and their famous poppyseed dressing...and then when I came home my Koinonia group brought in meals every night for two weeks--and they were so good!!! So I guess you're right. What a glow there is around those days.
