Hi Black Swan,

It applies from a applicator top on the quart bottle.

If you pull the top snout up , slight squeezing pushes it out. Had a thicker viscosity in the cold winter.

Much like a wood glue top applicator.

It only needs to be applied to the outer ring between the bark and the inner wood rings. Systemically gets drawn down into the roots. Effective here in Wisconsin up to November. I last applied it in mid november just before it snowed .

It does require a cut tree stump.

It is 100% effective so far. Not one stump had sprouts this spring.

Tried not to get nay n skin - should probably have those latex throw away gloves.

I got the instructions from the "Wisconsin Woodlands Owner Association" bimonthly magazine.

I purchased a quart from our local coop think it was around $20.00.

Good effective stuff.

Bob
