Recycling is the politically-correct way of increasing taxes step wise. You pass a big law, are suprised that the public takes 5 cents seriously and then watch the program cost too much to rake off any cream. So you throw in crap. No bottle caps, weigh only, reduce the pay out, and dozens of other ways to cheat the consumer of the percentage of money you promised him for doing what he always does. Gretta is an incredible made-up story about an ugly little child who will become an ugly woman, and who is no more than a reincarnation of the fascist 'Hitler Jugend' . In that day they would have farmed her out to a baby factory and the young men of the era would have had their way with her (been briefly married in a properly approved manner) and then gone off to die in the Storm Trooper brigades. She would be forced to raise a child as she fled the Russian hoards set on teaching her the proper way to have a good time. I can not say that what they are doing to the european youth today is much different.

Greta makes a lot of good environmental points.. unfortunately she gives too much press to CO2 which I believe to be a Red Herring... but easily digestible for mass consumption,,,

What I like about her though is that she walks her talk. How Un David Suzuki (FOR ONE of her :)

It would be nice to see the scale of positive activism of the 60s and early 70s return.. I see that hope in her...
