It's sad, isn't it? Iran was one country in the Middle East that was not artificially defined by Europeans. Then the Russians and UK decided to invade to steal their oil during WW2 and the US CIA toppled their Democratically elected government. That's the real root cause. I think what's happened since then is mostly American leaders not understanding or reading up on history. So it's become a never-ending cycle of violence and misunderstandings. I believe the Iranians will never topple their dictatorship, until the US steps away and brings our troops home. In the end, the US has engaged in far too many coups to install dictators friendly to us, and in most of those situations, it has come back to bite us hard. We need to all go back to the Monroe Doctrine. No entangling alliances and no policing the world. Let's focus on economics, like the Chinese do. Let's win there and all other things will start to fall into line for us.
