Roger, I think people should consider another angle: Linux is a very viable alternative to Microsoft Windows because it has most of the features of Win, runs on most of the hardware that Win does, it is free, and mostly because it gets better all the time - adding features that the users want and not the features that Microsoft wants to paint everyone into a corner with. Now I know the average bushman would say that this is all hogwash, but believe me, Linux is a sleeping giant and when the first large company gets off the Microsoft gravy train like a lot of small ones have, the market will see the writing on the wall.
