Conservatives took over the churches to destroy them. This is why Bush could commit war crimes, destroy the "Just War Theory" and religious leaders stayed quiet. Christ was replaced with conservative. Look at the Catholic Church. It became very conservative under JP2 and he refused to do anything about child rape. He was a conservative defending the institution, not the children. We see the same with the gop.They defend Trump, not the Constitution. To them, the party is everything. The Gospels of Jesus Christ and the Constitution take second fiddle to their abortion and gay gospels.
