<< How long did Osicom take to repay the loan given to them by Rand corporation? DId they get the loan on monday and then repay it back on friday? I think the answer is in the paragraph. Rand gave a NON-INTEREST BEARING ADVANCE TO THE COMPANY >> That's not what was said in the filing. The filing said "advances" (i.e. plural) << But we ended up paying $5,000 of interest on the $100,000 charge for the advance. So my guess is that the advance was paid back one 9-12 month after it was received >> It clearly says in the filing "offset"-- so as to say that the $100,000 and $5,000 part is a totally different loan. A totally different matter. They just combined the two matters into one, which confuses people who are trying to get a handle on this company, becuase loans and warrants and money and companies are all intertwined in a tangled web. The reason I don't like to see things like that is because it is not how I've seen successful technology companies run. You just don't see high profile technology names running their businesses like that and they never have. << Giving loans to management so they can exercise their options is very very common. The company gives the person money so they can buy their option from the company. He then sells the shares on the open market and repays the loan. The loan was paid the next month!! >> I wasn't aware of this. Could you provide me with a well known company that does things like this? A C$CO, MSFT, INTC, NSCP, YHOO, A$ND, DELL, CPQ, SUNW, etc. Somebody like that. If you can I will concede that point and apologize for making any inferences. I do appreciate you trying to answer my questions as opposed to hurling insults though.
