Brian and all,
many people this past week seem to think that the asian crisis is over and that it is factored in most of the tech stocks. I wouldn't be that confident. I'm sure evryone would like to beleive that and that we are all trying to put it behind us but I'm afraid there is still a long way to go. I'm not an economist but I have a few friends working at the IMF and the World bank and they's not as positive as the street is (actually, they dont sleep much). Things may get better but it could also get much worse.
Anyway, regarding CREAF, I'm confident after listening to the CC that they know where they are going. Sim is usually more conservative and his optimistic tone is a very good sign.

Just about everyone agrees the real effects of Asia won't start showing up in results until the first and second quarter of this year.

CEOs are always optimistic, so this does not mean much. How many times have you heard a CEO say that his stock has a ridiculously high p/e?

Happy Investing!
