Compared to the Khomenis and their alikes, who jumped in, when the Shah left the country rather than commanding his military to re-establish law and order, only 'officially' because he refused to shoot at his own people, but in reality, because he was sick to death, which was kept secret by him and his people ...
A lot more to this story and how he eventually was diagnosed with a cancerous spleen the size of a football, when he were allowed to enter a country willing to treat a very sick man. The full story is quite brutal, actually and involves President Carter and other 'State men' on the bad side.
