I support Trump to do what’s best for our Republic. It’s day #1086 of Trump dominating your life. When 2025 rolls around I bet, assuming you’re not in a padded room, you’re still going to be posting about POTUS Donald J Trump... junior.

No, I do not support Trump's statement that he will refuse to leave, if Iraq asked us to. I want us out. We have no strategic reason to be there, except to contain Iran's nukes. So I understand that the MIC wants us to have Iran surrounded by bases and that is why we are in Iraq. But I think we can tackle Iran without massive ground forces.

As for whether Iraq has asked us to leave, I have read conflicting reports that says they have asked us to and that they have NOT asked us to leave. So not sure of the veracity of these statements yet.

But I hope Iraq does ask us to leave and I hope we respect that wish. If so, then I will double down on my assessment that the targeting of Suleimani was a master stroke by Trump. Anything that gets our troops out of the Middle East faster is great news to me.

Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko:

“Today, Turkey, Russia and Iran are jointly working in Syria… from where you've been asked to get out.Tomorrow, you'll get out of Iraq and then you'll get out of everywhere else... we’re winning.”
