Margaret, I just sent you another post to clarify IBM/Bell Atlantic. Yes, I watched WSW last night and L.R. comments. gg. I also watched Crossfire on tape today. When you listen to all this stuff you can really tell that in this case: "What's good for the goose is good for the gander" does not apply. I am not a moralist. I was in the Navy and honor was preached and we should hold the top accountable for their honor while serving the public. We do not live in Europe, we live here. I go along with: Private Live should be private. But the Oval Office is not private and allegations need to be investigated, but in this case it's always the messenger that is being attacked. We are not talking only about sex here. If you are willing to sweep everything under the carpet just because someone has done good, we are in DEEP trouble. I don't belief that I ever commented on the Paula Jones case, if I did, only in passing but this is different. It is affecting the stock market and this distraction could give us troubles big time in the markets. It was a pretty good week for earnings reports and it should have been positiv for the market. This stuff is all over the net and it is interesting to see what people find important and what not. Let's hope for a better market next week. Dell and CPQ were recommended on WSW.
