Trump threatening to take Iraq's money that is being held by the NY Fed would be seen as theft by the courts. Trump has no justification to use it to blackmail the Iraqi's into doing what he wants and that's exactly what it is, blackmail. This is the same thing he tried to do when he threatened to withhold US aid to Ukraine. This type of extortion is starting to look like a trend rather than a one off. Pelosi should begin immediate hearings on the appropriateness and legality of this threat.
