Well after much heat for weeks here in Melbourne we finally have rain and lot's of it. Thank You. It nice to get a decent rainfall to break the massive heat wave up and the place sure needs it - and we are only half way through summer. ............ Anyone, Do we think that some results will diffently come out during Feb ?? Surely timing is nearing a very good time to have some news in the coming weeks, if the relevant market charts are anything to go by. ............ What's the date for this INVEST AMERICA program ?? I know nothing at all about this show and would appreciate some information about it. Jay

Yup, Canada's largest and third largest banks have proposed a merger. That would make it the 10th largest bank in North America and the 12th largest worldwide. The only way the gov't will approve it is if legislation allowing domestic foreign competition in the sector passes before. Looks like it'll happen. I think you're a little early re the announcement this week. I'm hoping we get one by the middle of February. It's hard to believe a 12 cent stock has this potential.
