I may be wrong it may have been Scientific-Atlanta and not General Instrament.

Nevin, If you look at page 14 of Anadigics 1996 annual report under Cable television/Multimedia Products, You will see that it states - "General Instrument is the Company's principle customer for cable television set-top products. Since 1989, the Company has had a strategic relationship with General Instrument for the development of GaAs-based chip sets used in set-top converters." They make a 550 MGz converter, 860 MGz converter, 50-860 MGz drop Amplifier and 50-750 MGz line Amplifier, according to the 1996 annual report. Doug
