It means that as of today 83 out of the 100 stocks chosen to be part of the Nasdaq 100 have point and figure buy signals. Friday it was 84. These are high numbers that are usually seen only after a bear market that leads to a long term bull market.If you look back at 2009 when we were recovering from the financial crisis the number actually got as high as 93:



I have no idea what the actual criteria is for what stocks are picked to be part of the NDX but market cap is no doubt a factor.
