I can understand why Bannon wants this Impeachment Hoax to get played out in the Senate because of how destructive it would be for the Democrats and how positive it would NOW be for Donald Trump and his 2020 Election Campaign. HOWEVER, I think one should take heed with regard to what Rudy Giuliani recently said about stopping this trial right at the start because the Articles of Impeachment, as presented by that Pelosi Gang, have no BASIS IN LAW AND IN THE CURRENT CONSTITUTION IN TERMS OF "BRIBERY, TREASON, HIGH CRIMES OR MISDEMEANORS (B,T,HC,M)". No CRIME was committed by President Trump. twitter.com So to go ahead with the Trial Process will mean that a PRECEDENT WILL HAVE BEEN SET such that future Presidents could face impeachment on anything that the House of Representatives get a 51% majority for, irrespective as to whether or not it falls under the Required terms, B,T,HC,M, as detailed in the Constitution, WHICH IS WHAT THE DEMOCRATS ARE CURRENTLY PROPOSING.
