Bobby, everybody is already reflating. Nominal prices will never fall anywhere. Even here in the U.S., which is why Fed governers confidently tell us that strong "growth" will contuinue.

The whole "inflation" v. "deflation" debate turns out, it seems to me, to just cause confusion.

The effects of an unsustainable debt bubble coming apart at the seems are already experienced in some parts of Asia. 10%-20% price increases as well as bankrupties, defaults and credit contraction or disapperance.

Whether we label this "inflation" or "deflation" doesn't I think add much to the analysis. The question as always comes down to : who will come out on top in the huge REAL capital reallocation and wealth transfer that result.
