5. McCarthy was right. Communists did infiltrate America. Fun fact: Most of McCarthy's list of commies came from his predecessor, democrat Martin Dies. While Dies seems to have been swept under history's rug, his political life was no less interesting than Joseph McCarthy. It seems that historians and the press don't want to make any connection between Dies and McCarthy. Dies' successor isn't even mentioned on Dies' Wikipedia page. CF Rebel

I don't think the dims are any worse than they have ever been, they have just come out of the closet in mass. Case in point Joe McCarthy. All my life, from school to adulthood, Joe was vilified. However there were many communists and some flipped such as Whitaker Chambers. The media and school system have been preaching $hit since then. Just bought a book to read up on Joe: Saint Joseph of Wisconsin.
