It's not the republicans, Stonehenge, it's the ultra right-wing faction that has taken shelter in the republican party just as leftist extremists operated under the aegis of the democratic party in the early '70's. Extremists of any ilk are not what this country is about in my opinion and I do not believe that most americans want to control the moral tenets, religious beliefs, or social behavior of other Americans. It is important that people who are rational and informed in both parties continue to present their views with clarity, fact and dispassion so that personal animosities, provincial and parochial thinking, individual greed and desire for power can all be superseded by consideration for the common good. Do I believe we are experiencing a "judicial coup", not yet.

Stonehedge,

I totally agree with you. This bedroom talk and even the Marv Albert thing are a waste of time. I feel it just an invasion of privacy IMO. Aren't we entitled to that anymore?

Regards,
Ken
