Republicans lied about Whitewater. You can't deny it. Republicans protected Nixon until they couldn't. You won't deny it. Republicans gave us McCarthyism, Watergate, Iran/Contra and endless wars in the Middle East because they lied about WMDs. Republicans promised to give balanced budgets and instead gave us $23 trillion of new debt. Republicans promised to give us a better health care plan but gave us a decade of lies instead. Republicans lie because this is who they are. Don't pretend they're our equals anymore. Liars are unfit.
