U.S. video game sales hit $5.5 billion, +51% over 1996 [primarily Sony and Nintendo].

Red Chip's comments (ref/11/97 report) regarding a TMSR entry into this market appear to make sense.

It can be safely assumed that TMSR has a new site under construction given they are entering the videogame market...this market, by definition, simply would not tolerate TMSRs current website...for a nano second...nor would TMSR survive the ensuing media take...(.)

TMSR is now on record they are entering this [videogame] market and have hired a marketing person specifically for this market...this could be [much]? bigger? than TMSRs current PC market (esp. given TMSRs brand equity/reputation and accordingly, the possibility of blowing away existing competition in the videogame market?)...new web site, force-feedback MotorSport GT, and entry into the videogame market all/each? imminently? pending?...very big...very exciting...after 26 consecutive profitable quarters all capped with record earnings and sales for FY '97 we are confident in [management's ability to efficiently and effectively make] what is [about to] happen...in our opinion.

Thank you George.
