I didn't lie. When I first posted that, I posted a reference to an article that made that claim from an expert in the region who has documented the ongoing battle there for the last 20 years. You simply don't like the fact that Suleimani was a bad guy, because it undercuts your narrative. You really need to stop this love affair you are having with Suleimani. It's disgusting.

Also, looks like another pillar of your ongoing narrative against Trump is falling apart: Trump signs phase 1 trade deal with China. Trump just keeps on winning for the American people, no matter what you guys throw at him. That must be a terrible disappointment to you.

"Let's Look What's In The Trade Deal, And What Is Not"

Submitted by Michael Every of Rabobank

What's the Deal

After a signing ceremony by US President Trump and Chinese Vice Premier Liu at the White House the much-awaited details of the ‘ Phase 1’ trade deal were finally released. While the S&P500 rose prior to the White House event, there were no major new aspects to the deal, so stock prices fell back again.

According to the document (Chapter 6) China shall ensure the purchase of an additional – on top of the 2017 baseline – $200bn worth of US goods and services over a two year period, from 1 January 2020 through 31 December 2021. This package consists of $77.7 bn in manufactured goods, $32.0 bn in agricultural products, $52.4 bn in energy, and $37.9 bn in services (see Annex 6.1 of the document). Moreover, China pledges to respect intellectual property rights, will open its financial services sector to the US, and refrain from currency manipulation.

In exchange for these Chinese concessions, the US did not carry out its plan for additional tariffs on $156 bn of Chinese goods on 15 December 2019, and will halve the 15% tariffs on $120 bn of Chinese consumer goods (such as cell phones, toys and laptops) implemented on 1 September 2019. However, the earlier 35% tariffs on $360bn of Chinese industrial goods and components remain in place. Moreover, the US Treasury department decided recently to no longer call China a currency manipulator.

Eat this : While some Democrats acknowledged that Soleimani was a dangerous terrorist, few admitted that he was the world’s No. 1 terrorist, responsible for the death of many Americans, including the four who died in Benghazi.“He’s the Wizard of Oz of Iranian terror, the most dreaded and most effective terrorist alive,” Kenneth R. Timmerman wrote in his book, “Dark Forces,” the New York Post reported in 2014.

Timmerman said Suleimani was “a man who has orchestrated a campaign of chaos against the United States around the world.”

Suleymani has orchestrated attacks in everywhere from Lebanon to Thailand. The US Department of Justice accuses him of trying to hire a Mexican drug cartel to blow up the Saudi Ambassador to the United States while he was in Washington, DC.

My sources, meanwhile, say Suleymani was involved in an even more direct attack on the US — the killing of Ambassador Christopher Stevens in Benghazi, Libya.

“In Libya, Iran wanted to block US influence, which they saw as a threat,” the intelligence chief said. “They saw the uprising against Khadafy — and the Arab Spring more generally — as an opportunity to accomplish this.”

On Sept. 11, 2012, a massive mob of heavily armed terrorists flooded in the U.S. compound in Libya, sweeping over the nine-foot-tall fences topped with three feet of barbed wire. “The lethality and number of armed people is unprecedented,” one State Department official said in detailing the horrifying last hours of the four Americans.

With only five guards, Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans fled to another building when the “unbelievable amount of bad guys,” as one State official called them, poured in. The mob followed and set it on fire. Chaos ensued; the Americans were separated. Some guards barricaded themselves in other buildings, but finally, a group gathered and decided to flee. They sped through the gates in an armored vehicle and ended up at an annex building. But the fighting wasn’t over: The annex took “precise” mortar fire with rounds landing on the roof, immediately killing two Americans.

The Obama administration at first claimed the attack was prompted by an anti-Muslim video posted on YouTube, even though then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told daughter Chelsea that night that it was a terrorist attack.

In the New York Post piece, Timmerman wrote: “Today, the Obama Administration has allied itself with Suleymani to fight the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. In this case, Iran’s goals — a Shi’ite-friendly government in Iraq — coincides with America’s hope that the country doesn’t fall apart. But don’t be fooled: It’s only a partnership of convenience, and one that won’t last.”

Nope. I want us out of the Middle East and everyone here knows that. I do not agree with Trump on that. I do understand that the MIC and most of our leaders want us to stay there, because we have Iran surrounded with our bases on all sides. The long game they are playing is regime change in Iran. Let me tell you that I am 100% FOR regime change in Iran, but I am 100% against the US playing a role with boots on the ground to make that happen. I think the only way regime change will be good for the Iranian people and for the US is if the Iranian people themselves decide they've had enough of the murdering clerics and terrorists who run their country. I think it is really none of our business.

The only business the US should be in is the business of business. Let's focus on our economy and only take military action when it is necessary for defensive or punitive measures. You know I have said this a thousand times. So your accusations are simply ludicrous.
