ahhaha: Nobody upset here. Your post implied that current & future modem business has nothing to do with the fortunes of DIMD. I disagree. I concur with the FACT that the modem biz does not contribute significantly to their bottom line. But I believe that in the short-term resolution on the 56K standard, & over the longer term introduction of DSL in competition with cable modems will have a ripple effect on DIMD's other product lines. I agree, DIMD is not a communications company; I'd categorize them as a peripheral because their products are add-ons. But IMHO because they also in business of delivering multi-media content to the desktop, impending development in the ability to deliver content over various modes of communciation will have a positive impact their overall bottom line going forward.
