I did not realize that FTEL was applying for full NASDAQ. I'll check into that.

Why do I say sales won't materialize? I don't say they won't, I say that it is very unlikely that they will based on the typical small-cap stock and my experiences with them. FTEL might be the exception. However, I've seen numerous yellow-flags. I'll try to document them later in more detail, however, here's a quick list:

1) Excessive CEO pay.
2) Hardly any revenues despite being in business for years.
3) Being a peanut compared to the elephants in the industry
4) Disappointment in company which bought the $2.5 mil in product based on the company's press release- meaning that they have a reputation for hyping so what else is being hyped?
5) The CEO has a big stake in making FTEL sound great so his large holding in FNET will become much more valuable if the IPO is successful. Not to mention all the money he's making on FTEL.

Other points:

a) The WCOM deal does not mean a whole lot because most hype stocks could have pointed to some big affiliation. I can point to QZARF, MTCI, etc.

b) Having "best" product endorsements doesn't mean a whole lot. It is worth a very small point, but not near as much as most would give it. I've seen RACE and AUGI both get the same designations. What did it mean? Both stocks ran up and then way down. Though both had the "best" products, neither could sell it.

c) FTEL is exhibiting the signs of a classic hype stock. Little revenues. A lot of PR. A lot of hope and little results. Maybe the results are coming just around the corner as many expect. We'll have to wait for that.

Does that mean that FTEL won't succeed? Absolutely not. Are you batting WAY against the odds? It would appear so.

Am I saying what the stock price will do? Absolutely not. I wouldn't bet against FTEL at this point. The hype is too strong. Also, maybe the NASDAQ listing will make it pop. If anything, I'd probably buy on dips and keep a stop on it from there.

However, I still doubt the tempest sales, etc., will ever materialize to a great degree. For that, we'll have to wait six months. I'm sure they'll come up with one excuse after another, if sales don't materialize by then, but at least I'll have more to back up my current opinion on the company.

Now, instead of name calling, why don't others try to discuss the company instead of me? At least I give reasons for my opinions, even if I'm not always right.

Sorry to hear about that person's luck/skill. Hey, I've bought rip-off BB's before, get over it, learn from it and get onboard the FTEL train.
This is not your typical small-cap stock BTW.

This wasn't to you Timbo, I've just learned not to post to folks who show up to stir the pot, get some hits on their web page and not even investigate enought to know that the company is going to the NASDAQ National Market vice Small Cap.
.
I agree with the others and will limit my posts to the thread to
new information that I find interesting.
