Intel REPURCHASING ITS WARRANTS:

From Barrons 01/24/98 ( p.MW8 ) : " Now Intel is calling off the game in a way that befits the company's shrewd use of the capitol markets. By offering to repurchase the warrants ( at $20.875 ), Intel avoids issuing more stock, effects a cheap equity buyback and puts shorts on notice that they'd better start covering.
Why is Intel scooping up warrants so far ahead of expiration? Reading between the lines, says Jon Najarian of One Financial, they might think their stock could rally. Coupled with reports that Goldman Sachs has been a voracious buyer of bullish Intel options on the American Stock exchange, this could be a salutary sign for the shares." I'm gonna sell my Intel shares ( which are huge ) which I bought at 75.875 at way over $100 a share, Pal. As for my MO, try me being down about 3 points ( actually a little less ). But don't you DARE COMPARE BIG MO with YOUR COMATOSE ICE CUBE, Mr. ICE CUBE BROKER! Big MO takes care of its shareholders with its dividend and stock buybacks ( in contrast to the UNSHAREHOLDER FRIENDLY ICE CUBE! ) and will SPIN OFF its FOOD AND BEVERAGE DIVISION once a settlement is reached! Big MO loves its shareholders and treats them like Gold not like a piece of you know what like Cube! You are gonna freeze this winter holding the ICE CUBES SHARES! CUBE is history, old news ( that is why it can't sustain a rally ) , a fantasy that has already been fulfilled! YOUR A CUBIC LOSER, FRIEND!

Here's how TechInvestor reported CUBE earnings on Thursday...

techweb.com

C-Cube Microsystems [CUBE] reported fourth quarter losses of $11.6 million, or 30 cents a share, on revenue of $90.1 million. The results still topped the 25 cents reported in the same quarter a year ago. Wall Street was expecting 27 cents a share.

Um... losses?
