Because Joe Biden is running for president That's the answer to the question. The rest of your response, it would seem, is a dubious narrative to rationalize it and to promote in-group solidarity. If this is a fair ruling, then my half believes Biden is guilty also. The ruling was from GAO. It was for actually having withheld congressionally appropriated funds. I have seen nothing about that having happened under Obama and, even if it had, it would have been on Obama, not Biden, his representative. The investigation of Biden by Rudy or anyone else is appropriate. Call it opposition research because obviously it is being done because Biden is running for POTUS. Not by Rudy or anyone else. If there's to be a legitimate investigation of wrongdoing, it would by the FBI. Calling it opposition research just reinforces that it's purely political, not government business. You probably feel that Trump is getting away with something I really don't care that much about this incident. I would have preferred he be impeached on more fundamental grounds.
