I've noticed that some folks notice the things they want to notice and don't notice the things they don't want to notice.

Oh them. More wolves in sheep's clothing. Republicans who are apt to be former neocons or own factories in China. Maybe George Conway's group?

One thing this thread has never understood is the word Uniparty. From the moment Trump declared war on globalism and former trade agreements, he faced virulent opposition from the entire Democratic party and half the Republican party. These people are the Uniparty.

Wharfie, what happened to progressive thinking? Things have been turned upside down. Democrats have become the reactionaries, the Luddites, while Trump voters have become the party of change.

Our enemies are not each other, they are corporatists, those willing to give away American technology and production secrets so as to profit from cheap Chinese labor. Our enemy is the corporatists who were willing to gut the American middle class and create a Mexican middle class by building production facilities in Mexico because Nafta allowed it. Is it really only Trump voters that want this changed? Trump may not be the right person for doing it, but he's the only one who spoke up.

Are Trump voters the only people who can see a basic law of supply and demand is violated when America allows more immigrants in than the job market can absorb? Are Trump voters the only ones who understand that excess labor keeps downward pressure on wage growth? How did Democrats become so confused that they would acquiesce to the damage being done by these corporatist goals?

Elizabeth Warren has the wrong remedies, but she clearly sees what has happened. Why doesn't the rest of the party?
