Isn't this the same argument Dershowitz made during the Clinton impeachment? Ken Starr has since stated that he doesn't believe Republicans should have impeached Clinton. Clinton's offenses were multiple statements involving perjury, so I guess both Dersh and Starr don't even think perjury qualifies even though it can put you in jail.

I admire Dershowitz. He's spoken on Fox that he's lost most of his friends and become a pariah on Martha's Vineyard where he has long had a vacation home. I read recently that he's the youngest Harvard professor to ever be given tenure.

You really should read the article. He understands the issue perfectly, but people who aren’t trying are not going to understand it.

There must be a high crime or high misdemeanor. Period. And there isn’t in the Trump case. I have doubts about whether enough exists to even charge the guy. I believer Dershowitz probably doubts that as well.

I expect his testimony will crepuscular the prosecution.
