Thx RWS. I did (reluctantly) read the DRRX story as the chart threatened to go.
It was like introducing a contaminant to the lab. (ack, ugh, ewww).
Either way, outcome is what it is though.
There's always a story. There's always the TA. Sometimes they're both simultaneously not quite accurate.
DRRX is ,so far, one of those times.
But if there's a divergence between the story and the TA, I'll take the TA over the story any time.
When both story and TA agree, it comes down to one's own opinion about the story vs. the hard right edge of the chart. Individual opinions are not data unless a large sample of individual opinions can be rendered as data...thus, charts and TA.
What can be difficult to avoid is that when the story is even reasonably "spectacular", combining positivity of storied presentation of fundamental outlook and technical "attitude"....
they do not combine into a greater positivity.
They are separate entities and decisions regarding position size and/or "stubborness" about a trade gone south for a time should be tied to the TA and not the story.
As always, IMO.
