Our entire Uniform Commercial Code, which we use today, including the precepts of topics like security interests and bailments, was derived from the Common Law. The state’s individually adopted this law prior to the Constitution. Other than states acquire pd later on in the Louisiana Purchase.

You don’t know anything about this and I have no interest in arguing with google searches.
