"I don't often post here, just read, but I think you should realize that if a bear market comes you need to look at a PE on the Dow dropping to 10 based on prior bear markets." Ed, I think of this as risk management, and an investor must be prepared for all possibilities, but answer these 2 questions for me please: 1. When was the last time the dow had a pe of 10? 2. When was the last time the dow had a pe of 10, with the long bond at 5.9%? Let me know what you find.
