>>Do you see nothing wrong with what he has done to trigger these charges or do you recognize the offense and just not consider it sufficient to warrant impeachment?

I believe what he did was what presidents must do, under the law, I.e., to question the sensibility of handing millions in taxpayer cash to a government which supports “Pay for Play” in dealing with American political figures, which is precisely what happened in the Hunter Biden incident.

Is it convenient that his potential prospective opponent happened to be the guy involved? Maybe. But that doesn’t relieve Trump of his obligation.

But even if you strike that argument, there is no basis for impeachment. There must have been a high crime or misdemeanor and there was not. That stops impeachment dead in its tracks, even before you consider there was a predetermination to impeach before any of this stuff happened.

I cannot imagine how these Democrats can sleep. They know it is a bogus legal claim then came up with a set of nonsense fake fact argument to try to pull this off. An act which occurred ONLY after all else failed.

And in the end the facts don’t support the claim.

It is entirely apparent when you have Pelosi celebrating this “solemn” moment, after poll testing the terminology to make it look as bad as possible. I mean, seriously. The national embarrassment here is Congress, not Trump.
