I would have been fine with using those funds as a compliance incentive. But in one of the most desperate, stupid political sell outs in history, Obama used the money to persuade them to agree to a deal that was so good they were never going to not comply. Amdeal which gave them nukes in 15 years and the ready cash to build them. I know the history of the money but those funds were held pending compliance, not mere agreement. It is the reason you don’t hire a boy to do a man's job.

That's the thing that gets me. I look at the hard core wingnut threads and they constantly rant about how we 'gave' them many billions of dollars. I guess they are either uninformed or choose to ignore the fact that as you say, it was 'their money' and we were not showering them with cash coming from our treasury. Maybe they should be talking about the cost of once again ramping troop counts in the middle east as Chump is doing. It's kinda like them railing about the cost of 'Solyndra' and green energy when it failed. I don't hear them talking about the almost 100 BILLION in wealth that Tesla has created...
