When you say this, "It doesn't matter why Biden wanted him fired or that others also wanted him fired", you are moving the goalposts. It entirely matters "why". The charge is that Biden was corruptly trying to get Shokin fired in order to help his son by stopping Shokin from investigating Burisma. That is what Trump and others claim and what inode and other Trumpsters claim. That claim is false. What Biden was doing was pursuing the country's interest. What Trump was doing was pursuing Trump's interest. There is an abyss between those interests and those actions.

And watching these attorneys for Trump talk is a joke. They are putting forth idiotic arguments. This guy is claiming, for example, that "The President was forbidden from attending" the House's procedures, lol. Excuse me, but the president was invited to attend. All the President's men were invited to attend. They all refused. And now they are claiming that they were "forbidden" to attend. Plenty of Republican congresspeople actually did attend.

Really incredible. We are in LaLaLand.

Actually it does. It means that Biden wasn't alone in his actions. He had the backing of Obama and others. If Biden did it to protect Hunter, that means the others agreed with Joe as to the reasons. And then you would have to come up with the "why" of them backing his play.

As to the rest of your post, you are ignoring that Biden has a legal backing for what he did. In this case, the authority of Obama. Trump didn't. The money was allocated by Congress and the groups that Congress had authorized for validating whether or not Ukraine met the criteria for fighting corruption had cleared Ukraine. There is/was no legal basis for Trump to strike out on his own on that issue. Not without bringing Congress into the deal. Which he tried to secretly go around Congress on.
