Hello everyone. New investor here myself--been reading the "other" thread more than this one because that is the one Joe M. posts on and also seems to be a bit more active. However wanted to point out something about the Hot Topic list. I "believe" that it really isnt the number of posts but instead a "variance" from normal activity (i.e. a huge upswing in action) on the thread that makes it hot. For example, the FIBR thread which I have been on for quite a few months had 4500 posts total, and Id say it averages 50 a day usually; but the stock has gone up 150% since 1/1/1998 and the past 2 days down 20%.. so of course that has attracted a lot of attention, especially since it passed $5 mark bringing back short sellers (and short selling posters). Anyways, needless to say the # of posts has increased dramatically in the past 2-3 days and now its a "Hot Topic". So anyways, the summary of this verbose post is I believe you make the Hot Topic list if you have a large change in # of posts..not the actual amount of total posts. As for someone's comment on having to restart a thread if/WHEN the price rises above $5 for DCTC , you can email the webmistress and she can move the thread(s) intact to the appropriate area. Been there; done that. P.S. Would prefer one thread as well, especially since it seems a lot of the same people post on both--but reading both anyways. grin Mark

Joe, I agree we're going to see the direction of the company unfold in the next 90 days. Also -- and although I believe there's as much promise in the European telecom market as you -- I think we might also see some things pop on the domestic front (?!?). Right now it's just speculation on my part but has something to do with following MZ's "fingers" (and travels :-)). Because of the speculative nature, I'm not going to elaborate until these "theories" either start getting a little more real or it becomes obvious I'm off base. Dan Note: I think both of us (and many others) had Wave I read right but I sure never would have guessed about Wave II. Also, although several of us might think we have a good idea about Wave III, it's the ones after that I'm currently speculating about and where -- if they have any credence at all -- I think DCI could start "blow the top off" things!
