Also, Taiwan is looking at any slowdown in Korea as an opportunity to gain
market share and is building DRAM capacity accordingly.

I can not understand how the Taiwanese, or any semi-company, would want to increase capacity in DRAM when the Pentium II with SDRAM is now the norm. It just doesn't make sense.
