If you can recall, exactly when did this story of President Nixon's mistress find its way into the news. I think I stay pretty much in tune with what's going on, and this is the first I heard of it.

J. Edgar Hoover? Now there's one. Another "hero" bites the dust.

Of course, if we citizens here in the States weren't so morbidly curious and condeming with regard to the sex practices of public people, J. Edgar would never have gained the control he seems to have had. Food for thought?
