Hi, Mike! Welcome to the Feelings thread, and thanks for sharing your opinion on the Clinton debacle.

From what I can remember, the networks and the newspapers did cover all of the alleged adulteries and the general smell coming off the Whitewater land deal during Clinton's first campaign in 1992, did they not? I certainly read about them at the time.

I think the American public had suspicions about Clinton's character, but overlooked them, for the most part, because he was in all other aspects charming, and they were ready for a change from repeated Republican administrations.

An interesting question to ponder might be whether committing adultery is, or is not, a general indication of character (unless of course by mutual agreement there is an open marriage). What does everyone think?
