re:stock close after earnings <i'll start off and say $12.50 based on top line growth plus guidance that the IXC fiber will reduce cost and produce profits quicker.> If the street believe that the IIXC fiber will reduce cost and produce profits quicker, wouldn't it have boost the stock price last Friday? If this stock doesn't go up next week does that suggest we have an inefficient market or that maybe no one is taking the IIXC deal to be as good to the firm as it's suggested? Take a look at the IPO price, now take a look at the dilution that'll be created by issuing 10M shares. :(

Sorry, Can't participate in the bet but, the IXC deal doesn't close until march sometime. Mindspring is moving completely off of PSI backbone The money losing canadian ISP (get a chart on them, public on toronto) will drag them down, we looked at buying it, it is a rollup of dial up shops in canada Now that the street is more familiar with the ixc deal, they will stay away -- is my guess. Without some external events, the stock will stay in the 100 day range of less than $9, remeber the IXC deal was announced last year and the street sadjusted for it by pusing the price down when the NASDAQ is still trending up.
