...i was reacting more intuitively than that. but you are making sense to me. as i watched my holdings go from 23 to 38 i heard that aol might be getting their own browser i realized that aol, xcit, msft, and yahoo all have great real estate, but i felt the run-up was to fast for my blood.

You haven't read the news releases then. They're looking at $20 million in revenue from Matchlogic in FY98, 40% of which is already booked. Profits are meaningless at this point in time, revenue growth is the criteria the street wants. Besides, market cap of XCIT is less than $1 billion, vs. YHOO over $3 billion. I'm playing the game of convergence of market caps.
