how are you going to fly a commercial plane emissions free, right now all new diesel engines on trucks have to use DEF to keep the emissions down, I hope some new technology appears to change things, One thing I've noticed recently everyone is going to low sulpher fuel, it burns cleaner and better for engines, it was only 20 years ago when new trucks were in the shop getting outfitted for logging equipment that the fumes would turn the whole shop blue, you seldom see a truck with fumes now.
