Respond to of 456029 I am presently against having any new witnesses and documents introduced into the impeachment hearings. It matters not how much immediate damage those could do to the pack of hyenas on the left (Schiff, Ciaramella, etc.) - this can all be done outside of the impeachment proceedings. The issues that would arise for both sides would multiply exponentially. There are a couple of major problems with introducing new witnesses and documents. First, the Senate would be doing the work that the House should or could have done and this would set a precedent for the future. Second, we need to accept that the mainstream media is an arm of the democratic party. The dems are vociferously demanding new witnesses and documents because they know the damage that the media can do regardless of the truth . If we had an objective media, then we might be able to consider new witnesses and documents. The damage that could be done to our institutions by the media, if given this chance, for as long as they want, could drive this country over the cliff by the end of the year. All rational people would become the raving neurotics that the left already is. We need to contain the media. That's our first job. The impeachment needs to be ended on it's merits as quickly as possible. Given the total mismanagement of the impeachment by the democrats in the House, President Trump's legal team has more than enough evidence to rightfully and legally end the proceedings. It goes without saying that President Trump has acted legally on all actions he has taken. If you want this impeachment to never end, give in to the demands of the left and the MSM. I'd rather play chess with these idiots than stoop to tic-tac-toe. Kill the media's lifeblood - lies and speculation - and you kill the dems at the ballot box. CF Rebel P.S. In 1976, at age 18, I argued and went against my parents in voting for Ford. They could not vote for Ford because he pardoned Nixon. I argued that you have to look at the big picture, the long run. Think of the damage that would have been done had Nixon not been pardoned. We're in a similar place now.
