The labor participation rate peaked under President Clinton at around 67% (give or take). It's currently around 63%. The gop used this number to condemn the Obama years but doesn't condemn Trump for having a very low number.

The labor participation rate was significantly higher under most of the Obama years also and again, republicans look the other way because the numbers are against them.
