Patrick, if we hit 20% sequential growth in the Americas & flat Asian sales we hit 90› eps.

IDC data should come out in the next week or so to validate our estimates.

Patrick, your methodology for calculating Q4 unit sales was the same as mine. The only difference is that Q3 European sales was 22% - not 23% - of worldwide sales volume thereby generating 389K units for Q4.

This 46% sequential growth in Europe is a very strong sign that DELL will do extremely well in Q4 overall. Sequential growth in the Americas in Q3 was 19% and there's no reason we should expect any substantial lowering of this rate in Q4.

I'm thinking 1,500K worldwide units is very doable. I'm hoping ASP will not erode and remain in the $2625 range. I've pegged fully diluted average weighted shares at 358m. Gross margin should improve, thanks to the Asian currency crisis, to 23%.
